Kanas Lake and Kanas River are the highlight of this place so every hiker will also spend time inside the scenic area to appreciate the beauty of the lake and river of Kanas.

From Kanas Lake it is 18km hiking to Baihaba Village. This part one can also use a park bus transfer to save the hiking although by hiking the route is different than using vehicle. Baihaba Village is the western most location of hiking in Kanas. Some people also do the Baihaba North hiking from Naren Ranch by the north to Twin Lake and then to Kanas Lake and village for total 3 days and 70km.
