Detailed Route
Longshan Village to Huangmaoling
Starting from Longshan Village (龙山村), you will pass by Shigu Temple (石鼓寺), Jinxin Bridge (尽心桥), Biaoshui Waterfall (飙水瀑布), and Zhong'an Temple (中庵寺) to reach Huangmaoling (黄茅岭). This section is about 5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of about 1000 meters.
Huangmaoling to Desperate Slope
Starting from Huangmaoling, you will pass by Diaomazhuang Plank Road (吊马桩棧道) and Hero Slope (好汉坡) to reach Desperate Slope (绝望坡). This section is about 8 kilometers long with an elevation gain of about 800 meters.
Desperate Slope to Golden Peak
Starting from Desperate Slope, you will pass by Heavenly Stairs (天梯) to reach Golden Peak (金顶). This section is about 10 kilometers long with an elevation gain of about 200 meters.
Wugong Mountain Hiking Tips
